R. Alvarado was born in Washington, D.C. Being of Salvadoran decent, she grew up surrounded by artisanal art. From her childhood up to her teenage years, Rebeca was able to travel to El Salvador many times and all-over Central America, including Honduras, Belize, and Guatemala. As an adult she continued her travels to places such as The Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Nicaragua, Mexico, Panama, Iceland, Denmark, Germany then down to South America including the Amazon in Bolivia and the Andes Mountains in La Paz. From these extensive travels emerged multi-cultural influences and eclectic interests.

The foundation for the love of art and cars began as a child by participating in art shows for children. Motivated by the support from her parents and teachers to continue her interest in art, she decided to pursue a degree in Graphic Design. With this background, she is able to marry her skills in pursuit of doing what she loves. Her art embodies the vivid colors and expressive nature of her Salvadoran decent. She strives to unify the beauty of both of her cultures and beauty from all over the world.
